The cooling units for X-Vent II are developed to perfectly match the ventilation units in the rooms where fresh air and cooling are required. If the outside air does not provide sufficient cooling, the units can be expanded with an integrated cooling unit where necessary. The cooling unit is a plug-and-play solution, so it is easy to retrofit on existing X-Vent units. I.e. the cooling unit does not need to be integrated from the outset but can be added once a need for additional cooling has been identified.
The cooling unit acts as a small refrigerator which is connected to the ventilation unit to make sure that the ventilated air is nice and cool.
Cooling unit 2011 has just been updated to provide a higher cooling performance, and is dimensioned according to the EN14511 standard i.e. according to an outdoor temperature of 35°C and 40% air humidity and an indoor temperature of 27°C and 50% air humidity.
A new product with recirculation is expected to be launched in 2011.
