Why X-Vent II decentralized ventilation?
X-Vent. Decentralized ventilation.
The X-Vent II series represents a technological evolution within decentralized ventilation.
Decentralized ventilation
In a nutshell, decentralized ventilation means that dedicated ventilation units are installed in those rooms where fresh air is required. This means that energy is quickly and cost-effectively transformed into efficient ventilation where – and when – it’s needed.
Perhaps it sounds major and costly? Actually, it is often both easier and far cheaper than conventional solutions with central ventilation.
In our experience, it is far cheaper to install X-Vent decentralized ventilation – both in terms of procurement and operation. X-Vent’s decentralized ventilation system allows you to install ventilation in one room at a time, spreading the investment across several accounting years while continuously saving money with a reliable and energy-efficient ventilation solution.
Thanks to efficient counter-flow heat exchangers and innovative EC motor technology, X-Vent’s decentralized ventilation systems boast some of the lowest energy consumption rates on the market. In addition, the systems have a very high heat recovery rate – up to 85% of the heat is utilised.
Central overview and local control
A room’s size, location and use are important factors in terms of the ventilation required. In small rooms, only light ventilation is needed, but conference rooms, classrooms and meeting rooms, which are full of people one moment and empty the next, require careful dimensioning and controlled ventilation with the option of different intelligent control methods.
An intuitive control panel facilitates manual ventilation control in each room, while motion and CO2 sensors ensure that energy consumption and CO2 levels are kept to a minimum. In large buildings with many units, central control via a PC offers the optimum solution as it gives a clear overview of operations and operating economy.
Keep a cool head
If the outside air does not provide sufficient cooling, the units can be expanded with an integrated cooling unit where necessary. The cooling unit is a plug-and-play solution, so it can easily be fitted to existing Airmaster systems. I.e. the cooling unit does not need to be integrated from the outset but can be added once a need for additional cooling has been identified.
